Something else from the selkie, sterling silver and a watery shimmer.
#16 Selkie’s Trove, Part 2
Blue lace agate round beads and charcoal grey shell ovals, with double-wrapped sterling silver loops to give the wrapping a little more substance.
The photo below shows off the mother-of-pearl shine on the shell. The shell ovals have a lovely water droplet look in the middle of the front, while the back is more solid but still very shiny. Below shows one front and one back.
I’d been going to do something else this week, but that pair needs more engineering before they’re successful, so I got out a pile of beads and went with this. (And came up with a number of other ideas – why does that always happen at midnight?)
